Steve Kalgren (Team Calvert)
1. 2 games of ironman hockey last night. How are you feeling today? Well, it's wednesday evening and I still feel as if I got hit by a train. And then the train turned into a transformer and beat me mercilessly. And then when it was finally done, and I was on my way home, I stumbled over a ledge and tumbled down a 45 degree sloop that was riddled with crags and boulders, hitting every single one on the way down... ...and then it got a lil chippy. 2. You came up short in both games. What can you say about the team effort in both games? Eh, didnt have enough time together to make any good realizations, in real-time. I had looked forward to playing with this group at the beginning of the season, believing every player has potential with the right guidance.(Except Chad, he's a bum..clearly..) But fate (or Briggs & Stratton), would deem otherwise. 3. Did you think there was a play or sequence that made the difference in each game? While there wasn't any specific instant that defined either game, there were several types of plays that repetitively wore us down or had negative consequence. 4. Despite the losses, was it nice to get back on the court following a long absence? Without a doubt. No one should deprive themselves of physical activity if they can manage it. It's what keeps the gears turning. You need to let the throttle open a little bit now and then. 5. Green remains undefeated. What was your impression of them following both games against them last night? Consistant. On task. Everyone pulls their own weight. No mistakes on defense.
