Foradori's Final Thoughts

Regular season concluded with a 12-6 win over the walkers last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? Good effort against a bad team.

You will get a rematch against the walkers to open up the 4th place tournament next week. How do you feel about your chances to get past them?  I’m not worried about them at all, their whole offense revolves around Denny and he’s awful.

 If you win that game, you will go up against the colonials or hounds. Do you think you would have enough energy left to beat one of those 2 teams?  If we win good, if we don’t oh well. I’ll still have to go to work Tuesday morning.

Knights are undefeated going into the playoffs. Do you think that puts a little more pressure on them going into the playoffs? Probably I guess, no sense I’m not losing all year to lose when it matters.

Eagles still cant beat a top 2 xhl team. What words of encouragement do you have for them going into their best of 3 semi final series against the yeti? Go get em tiger!

Got a prediction for that series? I think it’ll be a good series actually. It’ll really depend on the Eagles goalie situation but if Henry is there and they don’t have to pick someone up that’s maybe not as good as him I think it can go all 3 games. But I think the Yeti will take it in 3.

Brice may be out next week. Do you consider him a big loss for you guys? Meh, not like he’s done anything for us all year.

11 games in for the Pittsburgh pirates. What good signs have you seen from them in these first 11 games? Their starting pitching has had them in reach of almost every game. Except the 2 Yankee games.

What concerns do you have about them after seeing these first 11 games?   They can’t hit. Reynolds looks lost and he’s supposed to be our guy.

You were there for their home opener. Do you support the sell your team chant? I may have joined in on it. They won’t be competitive until the team is sold

3RD year in a row missing the playoffs for the Penguins. What do you think went wrong this season? The whole hockey aspect of the game. Besides Crosby it was a tough watch all year.

What signs of encouragement do you see for them going into next season and beyond?  They have a lot of draft picks and a couple decent forwards that were up at the end. You can put anyone with Crosby and they’ll succeed, just need more depth.

 SRHL around the corner. Whats your expectations after looking at the rosters?  There’s a lot of solid teams. I don’t think there will be many blowouts but there’s obviously going to be 2-3 teams that could stand out over the rest.

 If there was anything you could change about the SRHL, what would you change? Idk, maybe the roster sizes. 8 guys is a lot for a 45 minute game.

Will the knights finish unbeaten the rest of the way? It’s not looking like they’re slowing down at all. They’ve been winning those scrappy games too but in a 3 game set the Eagles or Yeti could knock them off.

What other random thoughts do you have this week:  Don’t let the Bear Claw get hot! You don’t wanna run into this wagon in the playoffs!
